Riding on a Big Yellow School Bus

Thank you to all the Moms and Dad who took part in our trip to the National Zoo. You all made it possible for Maggie and me to experience the trip without overdoing walking.  I know the sacrifices made by taking off from work and walking miles down the hill and up the hill at the Zoo. How lucky to live among you!

Everyone seemed to see their favorite animal(s). Lots of chatter about animal characteristics and behavior.

Clearly, the best parts of the trip for the children:

  • Eating lunch early at the zoo
  • No afternoon quiet time
  • Riding on a big yellow school bus

It was a successful Wild Wilderness Wednesday!
Tomorrow the children attend Spanish and PE classes.

This Friday, April 14, the children can come to school dressed in pajamas. Send a snack and lunch as usual, either home lunch or cafeteria lunch. We’ll start out the morning spending time with our fifth grade buddies. After that we’ll have ECLIPSE classes.
