It felt like being in a tent

Regardless of the weather we head out each Wednesday morning for a trek to the woods. These days our mission is to leave a message for the deer or any animals who might be as interested in us as we are in them.

Today, was a stellar day! The weather screamed hike! Some of us were overdressed, and by the end of the hike we were carrying our coats, hats, gloves and scarves. Carrying our warm clothing is a good lesson in being independent and responsible.

In this blog post you are viewing message number three placed on our regular hiking path. A translation of the message, “We love to run, deer!

We hiked up a new hill today, and that added to the energy of the hike. As we trek new paths, the children find interesting nooks. The other photo your are viewing is one of those nooks that several of the children found irresistible. It felt like being in a tent.

  • 8:00 AM        Room parents are meeting to plan our Valentine Extravaganza. And it’s a surprise for the children. We need your help to pull off this event. More information coming later. We plan to decorate for the event on the evening of February 13. We’ll add this on to our Pre K Happening meeting that same evening. Please keep that date open for us.
