The Burke scientists returned today for another fun, thoughtful, science thinking activity. The eighth grade scientists set up three stations for the children to study gravity, force and friction.
In this blog post you are viewing several of the children sending cars down a ramp. One of the stations had materials on the ramps adding challenges prohibiting the cars from gaining momentum. It was a challenging stimulus for the children in categorizing which materials placed on the tracks impeded the cars’ speed.
