Rain Didn’t bother Them in the Least

In raincoats and boots we headed out to the woods today on a WWW hike.  The children were amazing.  Rain didn’t bother them in the least.  They seemed to embrace something new in the air.  The chance to legally be out in the rain, get wet, splash in puddles.  What could be more perfect than that for three and four year old children!  In this post you can view them in action as they practice team work.

Please remember to have raincoats and boots readily available on rainy days.

This morning we unveiled our new birthday icon.  You’ll see it being used on the November calendar.  Next we’re working on our WWW calendar icon.

Two committees were chosen today for work:

  • a new calendar committee to work on WWW calendar icon
  • a committee to identify our family wall.  Please send in a family photo if you haven’t already done so to hang on our wall.  Include everyone.  This wall is a great resource in making connections to our families.

Thanks for sending in $8 if you are coming as a parent chaperone to the pumpkin patch next Wednesday either by check made payable to Horace Mann PTA or cash.

I’ve already receive some ASQ 3 questionnaires.  Thanks for getting those back to me as you complete them.  By all means, this shouldn’t be stressful.  If so, please discontinue and speak with me.

We had our first mystery reader today!  Yay!  You can sign up to read by accessing the sign up genius for mystery readers sent out last week.  And you can sign up for our endless fresh fruit bowl by accessing the sign up genius for fresh fruit.

Thanks for your support!

Happy Wednesday!
