The Children Hiked Down to the Banks to Get a Closer Look.

On our most recent trip to Battery Kemble Park, we collected more data about the water level in the stream.  In the top photo you will notice that the water level is significantly lower than the previous pictures posted on our blog, even to the point of exposing the floor of the stream.

The children hiked down to the banks of the stream to get a closer look.  Our second water marker mysteriously disappeared giving us cause to hypothesize about where it might have landed.  Nevertheless it was quite evident that the water level had dropped.  Though our data and research were both compromised by 2 water markers not able to withstand nature’s elements, we think it’s safe to say that heavy snowfall affects the water level in the stream in Battery Kemble Park.

We’ve reworded our hypothesis to test whether the water level in the stream will remain constant or change according to the amount of rainfall we experience.
