Visually, I’d like for you to focus on the sixty inch spindly, dangling, intertwined pieces of wire that the children have carefully measured and cut. The wire is attached to the tree limb in front of the mirror. This is a honeysuckle vine project in progress. Take notice of it when you visit our classroom.
On curriculum night, Wednesday, March 16, you will add to this project as collaborators adding to the children’s work. PLEASE mark your calendars for this unique, fun, special night. We’ll have powerpoint presentation on connections between the Foundry Watershed, the Little Brown Bat, and the Honeysuckle Vine to the land around Mann upon which our school sits upon. We’ll also look at math and literacy connected to this project.
