On most Thursday mornings, you can find us exploring Battery Kemble Park, part of the Foundry Watershed. There we’re watching nature change before our eyes, making comparisons from week to week, and in search of Little Brown Bats and Honeysuckle Vines.
Recently, we’ve been watching, researching water tables and flow of streams as the snow melts. Of course along the way, we hug trees, wish we could climb trees, and run up hills. I overhead one child say, “I wish I could climb this tree. I bet my Dad could climb this tree! Maybe we could climb this tree with rock climbing equipment?”
