Seniors and Children Love Puzzles

IMG_4338 IMG_4337

This post gives you a glimpse into the collaborative/intense play in the Honeysuckle Vine room with the Bitty Brown Bats and our OASIS friends.  We’re in partnership with OASIS from Sibley Hospital in collaborative intergenerational work.

Our friends joined us last week for lunch and play.  Seniors and children love puzzles.  Cheering and hugging were heard and seen as the groups put together jigsaw puzzles during our time together.

Part of our classroom culture is making gifts to show our love to friends.  The children painted pictures using tempera paint on large pieces of paper.  They presented these to our OASIS friends along with verbal greetings of love and joy.

You should come by and share in our intergenerational work!
