On Tuesday of last week the children viewed exhibits at the Katzen Art Center. The children viewed several paintings. A docent gave them a brief history of the paintings and asked them for their interpretations. They also viewed sculptures on a patio where they played a game of standing in front of their favorite sculpture.
After our tour of the museum, the children played on the quad on the AU campus. How lucky we are to be near such a uniquely, wonderful diverse facility!
This trip is another experience in making learning visible as part of our Diversity Intention as we experience our diverse community.
