On Friday morning of last week, we enjoyed a bit of yoga. The children are practicing downward dog while making a downward dog tunnel. For those of you who practice yoga, you would agree with me that downward dog is not an easy pose. It takes strength, breath, and focus to remain in the pose. The creative energy of making a tunnel brought out the children’s collaborative spirit. The children sliding through the tunnel needed to trust that their peers were strong enough to remain in the pose. It was a great morning for team building, noticing the breath, and being physically strong in yoga. Try downward dog with your Princess or Ranger.
