Sometimes on Friday we have a children’s yoga class. This post is about last Friday’s yoga class. The children are learning to practice breathing for good health, for calming anxious moments, and just noticing the breath. The class also helped the children strengthen team building skills. The ladder like rope on the floor was used for skipping using both feet. The round red cushion was used to help with balance while two peers helped to spot the person practicing balance. Of course the parachute always gets cheers!
