Last week was our final visit with our Senior Adult friends from OASIS at Sibley for this school year.  In the above photos you can see an activity that the children have become very comfortable doing.  They are reading books together.  The Lollipops take turns reading to their OASIS friends and listening while their OASIS friends read to them.  The partnership has been so successful!  These two groups come together once a month, every third Wednesday.  They teach each other.  They learn from each other.  They challenge each other.  They feel comfortable with each other.  They respect each other.   They LOVE each other.  These two, often opposing groups, have strong magnetic appeal!
