Art to Keep Our World Healthy

On March 11 we are going to the Montgomery Recycling Plant.  Recently we have inherited recycled goods that you are sending from home.  The children are making thoughtful decisions about how to use these recycled items.  In the above photo you can see the beautiful art work of one of the children.  Actually all of the items in the art are recycled.  The pink paper comes from the recycled paper bin.  The beads come from a saucer where we place recycled beads from old art projects.  And coffee/tea drinkers will recognize the splash sticks from Starbucks.  The children create beauty from recycled goods.  They know that in order for our world to be healthy they should use all items.  All materials are treasured and valued.  Nothing should be wasted.
