Competent in Utilizing Materials



IMG_4942fondueAnd if we didn’t already have enough beauty in our lives, our room Moms, Vicki and Maria, organized fruit fondue.  The children were very much a part of the whole fondue process.   The children measured, stirred, and watched half and half cream, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate become rich, thick fondue.  They cut bananas and strawberries to dip into the chocolate.  The children even experienced real fondue forks.  When we allow children to participate and take ownership in cooking they are competent in utilizing materials.
